Backroads of Appalachia partners with Special Operations Adventure Foundation

Backroads of Appalachia is proud to announce a partnership with the Special Operations Adventure Foundation (SOAF) as an official benefactor of the Appalachian 1000.

SOAF is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of U.S. Special Operations Forces veterans by providing outdoor adventure experiences that promote healing, resilience, and community. Their mission closely aligns with Backroads of Appalachia’s commitment to using adventure travel and motorized recreation as a force for positive impact.

Through this partnership, the Appalachian 1000 will help support SOAF’s efforts by raising awareness and funds that directly benefit Special Operations veterans and their families. Participants in the Appalachian 1000 will not only experience some of the most scenic and remote backroads in Appalachia, but will also contribute to a cause that honors service, sacrifice, and recovery through adventure.

“We are honored to partner with the Special Operations Adventure Foundation,” said Backroads of Appalachia. “This collaboration reflects our shared belief that adventure, community, and the outdoors can change lives.”
