Take a historic ride through the turf wars of the most infamous family in Kentucky History, The Hatfield’s and McCoy’s. We highly recommend stopping at the Pikeville Cut Through and Event Center to experience this amazing overlook. This cut through project was named the 8th Wonder of The World by the New York Times. This project completely rerouted the The Big Sandy River to keep it from flooding the town. This Trail is 106 miles and takes you through the entire history of Kentucky’s most infamous family with many points of interest to visit and enjoy.
