Miner’s Slope 179

Just minutes from Dragonslayer 160 and located in historic Cumberland, KY this trail travels through the famous Slope Hollow. Slope Hollow, was chiseled along the mountain side and proved to be a gateway for coalminers to access the remote mines in the greater Harlan area. With its sheer drop offs and unmovable rock walls, travel is not recommended in the winter. This trail is 25 miles long (40 minutes) and takes you up and down the mountain. Beautiful overlooks and plenty curves and switchbacks. For more info, see the What’s Around link on the App.
