Good morning everyone!
As many of you know central Appalachia has been hit yet again with historic flooding. Backroads of Appalachia and the Appalachian Overland Triangle will be coordinating relief efforts in the region alongside our emergency managers in Eastern Kentucky, Southern West Virginia, and Southwest Virginia.
Current needs:

Physical items: we are currently coordinating with warehouses in Western North Carolina to acquire items to bring to the affected areas. We need an inventory on needed items so that we can let the warehouse know what is needed. Secondly, we will need volunteers to go and retrieve and truck those items to the affected areas.
Donations: We will be running a campaign directly through BOA’s website to raise funds to purchase gift cards to be distributed to county emergency managers to insure they get into the right hands. To donate, visit: www.backroadsofappalachia.org/donate
