The Chemical Valley Scramble returns in 2027—making history as the first 24 Hours of Appalachia event to offer dedicated classes for both 2WD and 4WD ATVs!

This unforgettable 24-hour endurance rally will challenge participants across more than 250 miles of rugged mountain terrain and backroads throughout Southern West Virginia.

This is not a race. It is a true test of navigation, endurance, preparation, teamwork, and determination. Participants will encounter gravel roads, mountain trails, creek crossings, technical off-road sections, scenic overlooks, and historic Appalachian communities.

Whether you’re piloting an ATV, motorcycle, UTV, or capable full-size 4×4, success won’t be determined by speed. It will come down to smart decisions, reliable equipment, efficient navigation, and the ability to keep moving when fatigue sets in.
