March 7, 2025 @ 5:00 pm - March 9, 2025 @ 3:00 pm EST

Embark on the Ultimate Adventure: 24 Hours of Appalachia – Mothman’s Revenge
Point Pleasant, WV – 24 Hours of Appalachia, in partnership with the West Virginia Gambler 500, is thrilled to present a spectacular event that melds the spirit of challenge with a noble cause. The 24 Hours of Appalachia – Run for the Hills is an adventurous fundraiser to benefit the West Virginia Children’s Home Society (WV CHS) and Backroads of Appalachia (BOA).
Poised to showcase the rugged beauty of West Virginia, the event invites participants to traverse over 600+ miles of the state’s majestic backroads and trails. Spanning from the mysterious Point Pleasant to the amazing backdrop of Seneca Rocks, WV this 24-hour test of endurance, strategy, and heart is not just a rally against time—it’s a mission.
Scheduled for March 7-9, 2025, the rally will spotlight hand-picked drivers forming dynamic teams, with each driver accompanied by a co-driver/navigator. These teams are charged with the formidable task of completing the route within the 24-hour limit.
Participants will be immersed in the Appalachian landscape, passing through iconic West Virginia locations such as:
– The serene Canaan Valley and cascading Blackwater Falls
– The expansive wilderness of Monongahela National Forest
– Greenbrier Valley’s rich history and lush scenery
– New River Gorge National Park, a wonderland of outdoor activity
– The industrious Kanawha Valley
– Ohio Valley’s cultural and historical landmarks
Why run for the hills? Beyond the adrenaline and the test of resilience, teams will come together to bring awareness and support to the foster system, specifically promoting the WV CHS and its commitment to providing loving homes for children in need. Your participation or support of the 24 Hours of Appalachia – Mothman’s Revenge isn’t just an investment in adventure; it’s an investment in hope and family for dozens of deserving children and for BOA to continue it’s mission to bring economic growth to Appalachia.
For those who can’t make it but still wish to contribute, donations are welcome and deeply appreciated. Together, let’s drive change for these young lives while exploring the hidden gems of Appalachia’s backroads.
