Held at “The Grand Canyon of the South,” because it is the deepest gorge east of the Mississippi with the beautiful Russell Fork River flowing though, this event returns to the schedule for 2026.
The Experience:
Your event experience starts from the time that you leave your driveway until you return home. Rides4Fun has partnered with a national navigation company to offer our guests the capability to choose to have “Best Motorcycle Roads” mapped for them or select the fastest route to and from the event. Breaks Interstate Park is located on the Kentucky/Virginia border. It is known as the “Grand Canyon of The South,” because it is the deepest gorge east of the Mississippi with the beautiful Russell Fork River flowing though. Breaks Interstate Park is a natural haven nestled in the heart of the Appalachia Mountains.
When you arrive on Friday, you’ll be captivated by the park’s amenities. The Chafin Lodge, overlooking the roaring white water Russell Fork River, will be the center of everything for the event weekend — starting with sign-in. There will be cash bars and exceptional catering provided by park staff.
Lodging options include rooms at the lodge, cabins on the water, RV camping and tent camping.
After a little R&R on Friday night, you’ll wake to breakfast on Saturday morning. After a good meal, you can select from multiple street or adventure routes to enjoy on two wheels. Famous area roads within short distance of the park include “Back of The Dragon” and “The Dragon Slayer.”
If you seek time off of the bike, the park offers plenty of activities. Kayaking, hiking to ziplining name a few — even an elk tour arranged by the park rangers on Friday afternoon.
