The higher mountain elevation location (Pipestem was once a ski resort) should ensure some great riding weather. West Virginia offers incredible roads for street riders and is legendary for its primitive roads for adventure riders.
Pipestem Resort State Park is located in the heart of West Virginia in the famous Appalachia Mountains. It is the perfect state to hold a summer MOA Getaway. West Virginia is the only state with a mountain valley elevation over 3,000’ east of the Mississippi River. The terrain and sparse traffic make it a natural motorcyclist haven.
Guests will enjoy the destination nestled in the heart of historical timber and coal country. Guests arriving on Friday will be impressed with the park’s great amenities. The first stop for guests will be sign-in at the McKeever Lodge sitting at the base of a mountain. The park even has as second lodge at the summit of the mountain — the Mountain Creek Lodge.
The McKeever Lodge will be the center of everything for the event weekend. Lodging offerings for event guests include everything from traditional rooms at the lodge, cabins, RV spots, and tent camping spaces.
There will be a welcome reception featuring full-service, private cash bars and appetizers on Friday. Saturday’s banquet dinner will be catered by park staff.
