The WCMG and Backroads of Appalachia is proud to present our 3rd Annual Big South Fork Lightning Strikes Twice Event 2024 with the City of Williamsburg Tourism, Whitley County Tourism, and McCreary County Tourism! We will be Leaving Kentucky Splash Waterpark at 12:00 PM to ride Copperhead Trail to the Dairy Bar and one of our favorite spots to eat! a 50s Style Diner Still in Operation!
After Lunch Riders and Drivers will stage at the Big South Fork Scenic Railway for the Ride/Drive and can choose one of two route options!

Either choice is an epic ride or drive in one of the most beautiful areas in Southeast Kentucky! There will be many great stops along the way on both routes as we showcase the awe inspiring natural beauty that can only be found in McCreary County, Kentucky!
After a great day of riding and driving we will all come back together at The Big South Fork Scenic Railway in Stearns, Ky at 6:00PM for our “Block Party in Big South Fork” sponsored by McCreary County Tourism and our partners at the Whistle Stop Restaurant! 2 great events in one day, multiple route options, and all are welcome! Cars, Bikes, Slingshots, Jeeps, and Trucks! Join us this season for one of the most unique events on our schedule as Lightning Strikes Twice in Big South Fork! Don’t forget to RSVP!
