Three waterfalls at the Falls of Hill Creek cascade over rock layers of sandstone and shale. A 3/4 mile trail provides access to the falls, including a paved, barrier-free trail to the first falls. This area is located six miles west of the Cranberry Mountain Visitor Center. A scenic forest trail leads into a narrow Gorge containing 3 waterfalls, the largest of which is 65 feet high, is the second highest waterfall in West Virginia.
The thousand-acre park includes 25 developed acres that offer spectacular views, mountain biking/hiking trails, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, and rock climbing.

The Miller Fork Recreational Preserve (MFRP) was acquired in 2012 by the Red River Gorge Climbers' Coalition with assistance from the Access Fund's Land Conservation Campaign. As of early 2015, this 309 acre area has over 20 established crags and several hundred routes, with potential for many more.

Natural Tunnel State Park is a Virginia state park, centered on the Natural Tunnel, a massive naturally formed cave that is so large it is used as a railroad tunnel. It is located in the Appalachian Mountains near Duffield in Scott County, Virginia.
Pickett Civilian Conservation Corps Memorial State Park is a Tennessee state park in the upper Cumberland Mountains. It is located in Pickett County, northeast of the city of Jamestown, and is adjacent to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.
Pickett CCC Memorial State Park lies within the 20,887-acres Pickett State Forest and is adjacent to the massive 125,000 acre Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. In 1933, the Stearns Coal and Lumber Company donated nearly 12,000 acres of land to the State of Tennessee to be developed as a forest recreational area. Initial development of the area by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) occurred between 1934 through 1942. The CCC constructed hiking trails, five rustic cabins, a recreation lodge, a ranger station, and a 12-acre lake. The park memorializes and preserves the unique work of the CCC who first developed the park.
In 2015, Pickett CCC Memorial State Park and Pogue Creek Canyon State Natural Area earned Silver-tier International Dark Sky Park designation. It became the first state park in the Southeast to gain this prestigious recognition. Visitors can enjoy sweeping, rich views of the night sky similar to those found in many of the Western states.

"The trail runs 333 miles from the northern boundary of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Rowan County, Kentucky, to the southern border of Big South Fork NRRA in Scott County, Tennessee.
We offer two bedrooms, which have a total of 11 single beds. There is also a common room with couches and TV. $17 per bed or $70 per room (5 or 6 beds) Food: We offer an awesome selection of gourmet hot dogs, quesadillas, chips, nachos, chili, ice cream, etc. Veggie options are available. Gear: Our gear selection is always evolving as we strive to provide useful items that will add to your experience while visiting the Red River Gorge. Bar: We provide a rotating selection of draft beer and the occasional bottle or can. Come swap stories and throw a game of darts at "The Station"
