Lago Linda Hideaway provides countryside camping and cabin rentals with close proximity to one of the world’s premier rock climbing destinations, the Red River Gorge. Only 65 miles from Lexington, Kentucky, this idyllic retreat offers spacious, quiet, and safe accommodations to hundreds of rock climbers and other outdoor enthusiasts and their families (including canine members) year-round. Despite the rustic and rural feel of Lago Linda, campers have access to free WI-FI as well as hot showers and flush toilets. Also we have a Country Cafe that is open during the weekends.
The 63-room Lure Lodge overlooking beautiful Lake Cumberland offers full amenities. Wireless internet access is now available in the lodge and in all cottages. The indoor pool complex offers year round fun and Lake Cumberland fishing never disappoints. Open year-round. Rooms available by late afternoon. The park also has 29 cottages available. Lodge room check-out by 11 a.m., cabin check-out by 10 a.m. local time. We are now pet friendly. No more than two pets are allowed per room/cottage. Lake Cumberland also has 75 campsites (11 utility hook-ups and 64 primitive sites) available with 3 service building supplying showers and restrooms. Primitive camping is year round.
Campsites: 104 individual tent or trailer sites and 10 group sites.
Each site has a parking spur, fire ring and lantern post. All camping areas have access to the restrooms with running water, flush toilets, hot showers and electricity (available during summer season only). In the spring and fall, vault toilets and hand pump well are available. Additional amenities or activities include swimming beaches, boating, hiking, fishing, hunting, a playground, picnic shelters and volleyball courts.

Our Mission
To enrich people’s lives in our community and the southern West Virginia area by offering health, educational, recreational and cultural opportunities in a moral environment.
As a young man Larry Joe Harless vowed that when he grew up and made some money he would come back to his hometown and build something for the youth in Gilbert.
Larry Joe passed away in 1995. In his honor, his father and mother, James H. "Buck" and June Harless, contributed the construction cost of the 55,000 square foot building, which became the Community Center. This allowed the LJHCC Foundation to utilize the money raised through donations and contributions from the community for the operating cost of the Center.
Sadly June Harless passed away in April 1999 just prior to the opening of the LJHCC.
The Larry Joe Harless Community Center has become an integral part of the community at large.
