All of our rooms have Queen size beds, kitchenettes, and bathrooms. The rooms are very spacious and have WIFI. Large rooms. Large Parking Lot.
Our lodge is a renovated school building on the north end of town located 5 minutes from the center of Gilbert. It is equipped with a very large parking lot perfect for ATVs, trailers, or RVs. The paved entry area doesn’t require a lot of manuevering. The accessibility is wide and easy.
We are a full service off road destination campground ready to accommodate your needs with cabin rentals, overnight stay in our campers, Conestoga wagon, RV spots, primitive camping and more.

HAWKS RIVERSIDE LODGE is only a short ride to an entrance of the ROCKHOUSE TRAIL SYSTEM. We are also centrally located between the towns of GILBERT and MAN. No need to pull your trailer around with you while being here, so you can hop on your ATV and go. The lodge is on private property on the Guyandotte River, which gives you the view of watching the blue herons fishing the shoals while you’re enjoying the fire pit, or you could even try your luck with the local smallmouth yourself.
You can cook your meals on the charcoal grills provided or eat out, while you relax by the river. The lodge is very well equipped, with full-sized kitchens, a heat pump and ac, a washer and dryer, full-sized baths, and a spacious deck giving you the view of the river while you enjoy your morning coffee. Privacy and a family-oriented atmosphere are what give the HAWKS RIVERSIDE LODGE the highest return percentage on the trail system.
We also help riders plan their trip, listing what to bring, what weather to prepare for, and make every effort to keep your ATVs running with access to our workshop to make repairs if necessary. If we have nothing available for your dates, we will still help you plan your trip and recommend locations that will provide you with the service you desire.
Nestled in the heart of whitewater rafting country, Hawks Nest State Park encompasses 276 acres bordering a rugged section of the New River Gorge National River. Long known for its panoramic views, the park offers a 31-room lodge for the comfort of overnight guests, on-site restaurant and an aerial tramway (seasonal). Below the lodge, the New River forms peaceful Hawks Nest Lake. Above the lake, the narrow canyon and rushing water create one of the most challenging whitewater boating waterways in the nation.
The lodge and restaurant is open year-round. Online reservations are available. Park map, hours of operation and special rates are maintained on the state park website.

The space
You can enjoy a cup of coffee at the outdoor dining table while watching the deer and ducks play around the pond, take an afternoon nap in the oversized hammock in the trees and spend your evenings sitting around the fire pit. While inside, take advantage of our many upscale amenities, from 250 MB high speed internet and cable to a fully functioning custom kitchen. Our cabin is only 5 minutes from Flat Lick Falls, one of Kentucky’s most beautiful hidden treasures, Beulah Lake and Sheltowee Trace Trail Head. For hiking enthusiasts, enjoy a beautifully scenic drive to The Pinnacles of Berea (30 minutes) or the unlimited trails of Red River Gorge (60 minutes)!
Hemlock Haven is a beautiful studio cabin, complete with a queen size bed, reclining couch, and flat screen tv with IPTV cable and a roku. We have also fully stocked the kitchen with dishes, cookware, utensils, standard coffee pot, Keurig, coffee, snacks, and condiments! We do provide toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and some disposable dishes for convenience. There is a front load washer and dryer available for guests to use in the cabin as well. The cabin also has a charcoal grill, propane grill, and some wood for the fire pit.
